Language Difference or Learning Difference?
This two-part workshop series is designed for literacy specialists, TESOL teachers, special education teachers, classroom teachers, content specialists, principals, and special services staff. Part 1: Understanding Second Language Acquisition & the Role of Tier 1 In the first session, participants will acquire a functional understanding of second language acquisition. Part 2: Identifying and Addressing Learning Differences in Multilingual LearnersThe second session focuses on facilitating both quantitative and qualitative conversations with colleagues when a multilingual learner demonstrates perceived learning difficulties.
