Microcredential in AI in K-12 Education

Skills21 at EdAdvance, in partnership with Southern Connecticut State University’s Office of Workforce and Lifelong Learning, is offering a microcredential: AI in K-12 Education. This six-week course will run from October 21, 2024, to November 29, 2024, and is designed to be self-paced, with a focus on practical, hands-on activities. It will cover five key modules: •Foundations •Prompting Pros •Shifting Assessments •Future Focus •Presentation. Each module includes video instruction and activities that will guide you in practicing the use of generative AI in a variety of educational contexts. To further support your learning, we are offering three optional synchronous Zoom meetings from 6:00-7:00 PM on the following dates: 10/29, 11/7 and 11/19. Participants who complete the training will earn a digital badge issued by Southern Connecticut State University through Credly.
