This training is intended for those using the ELP Standards and who have completed ELPS 101 and ELPS 102.
The rigor for all Adult Education classes has been increased to help learners transition into successful careers and/or higher education. This training will cover best practices for ESL classroom instruction, focused on the presentation of simple lesson plans based on the ELP Standards. It is intended for ESL teachers or ESL Lead Teachers who are familiar with the ELP Standards and have started creating lessons and activities to introduce or reinforce the concepts outlined in the ELP Standards.
Participants will need their own devices as activities and resources will be shared electronically.
