Empowering Educators: Research-Based Literacy Instruction for Multilingual Learners
This in-depth professional learning series is designed for administrators, literacy specialists, interventionists, and classroom teachers seeking to enhance literacy instruction for multilingual learners. Grounded in explicit, systematic, and comprehensive literacy instruction, the training explores evidence-based approaches that support language and literacy development. Participants will extend their understanding of foundational skills, oral language proficiency, assessment tools, and effective instructional strategies. Through case studies, application tasks, and research-based frameworks, educators will gain the knowledge and tools to design responsive literacy instruction that meets the unique needs of English learners. Additional resources, including seminal research and instructional materials, will be provided.
