This full-day, in-person session provides a comprehensive overview of secondary transition planning through the role of the Secondary Transition Coordinator. Participants will examine professional responsibilities, including legal requirements, best practices, and strategies for supporting students with disabilities. The session highlights essential transition resources, services, and public transition programs (PTPs) offering transition-only services to enhance planning and family engagement. Completion fulfills state-mandated training requirements and strengthens participants’ ability to support successful post-school outcomes.
