Introduction to Charting the LifeCourse
Person-Centered Planning (PCP) is a set of approaches to life-planning based on what a person considers most important. Charting the LifeCourse (CtLC), a universally-designed, PCP framework, is a tool to assist individuals and families of all abilities and ages to develop a vision of a good life.
Objectives (appears on the evaluation form):
Participants in this session will understand the importance of PCP, become familiar with the CtLC tools, and how to use them to support the development of the individualized education program (IEP) and transition planning.
Additional Information:
This training is free, and offered either in-person or virtually.
Each in-person training will be held one full day, scheduled from 9:00am to 2:00pm (with a break for lunch).
Each virtual training, held on the same day, is scheduled from 9:00am to 2:00pm (with a break for lunch), and will be hosted through Zoom.
Each virtual training, held on different days, will be divided into two 2-hour sessions, and will be hosted through Zoom. Please register for a training that you can attend both sessions.
