Developing Emotional Intelligence for Transformational Leadership
This online workshop series, designed for educational leaders and instructional coaches, offers an in-depth exploration of Emotional Intelligence (EI) as a cornerstone for effective and transformational leadership. Over four consecutive Wednesdays, participants will engage in collaborative discussions, self-assessments, and practical exercises to enhance their EI competencies and apply them in their leadership roles. Each session builds on the previous, fostering a progressive understanding of EI's impact on personal growth, interpersonal relationships, and organizational success.
Goals (appears on the evaluation form):
1) Enhance self-awareness and emotional intelligence to improve decision-making and leadership effectiveness. 2) Develop interpersonal skills to foster strong relationships with colleagues, staff, and the broader school community.3) Explore the integration of EI with professional leadership standards to create a balanced and inclusive school environment.4) Cultivate transformational leadership practices that inspire positive change and resilience.5) Create actionable strategies for sustaining emotional intelligence in leadership roles.
