New Administrator Support Series
Have a new administrator joining your district? Are you a new (1-3 year) administrator looking for support and job-embedded learning and feedback? This new series is for you. Research, strategies, and application are an integral part of all workshops. All participants will have a one-hour overview of leadership frameworks to help level-set their growth trajectory over the series. Participants have the opportunity to choose a focus from the other leadership domains or choice to attend multiple sessions of interest. Customize your growth and professional learning into the new school year! Session Information: 8/12-Mandatory Overview ("The Professional Standards for Educational Leaders and Your Leadership and Learning, 8/14-AM ~~ Module1: Setting a Mission of Equity and PM Module 2: Human Capital under Your Care and on 8/15-Module 3: Leveraging Operations, Community, and Process to Create a Culture of Belonging and PM Module 4: Setting the Context for Student Learning.
Objectives
Participants will: Focus on the difference between pedagogy and how adults learn; Dive into the PSEL standards to understand the measures to support adult learners under your care; and Develop the professional capacity and practice of school personnel to align with school/district goals and promote each student’s academic success and well-being.
