Home Visiting -Talking with Families about Nutrition
Embark on a journey to promote healthy nutrition habits with our course, 'Home Visiting - Talking with Families about Nutrition.' Throughout this module, home visitors will gain a comprehensive understanding of key principles, from defining essential healthy eating habits to supporting breastfeeding mothers and introducing solid foods. Delving into the impact of environmental and cultural factors on eating behaviors, participants will learn effective strategies for engaging families in respectful conversations about nutrition. With a structured approach encompassing the importance of responsive feeding and overcoming barriers to healthy eating, this course empowers home visitors to make a positive impact on the nutritional well-being of families, ultimately contributing to obesity prevention and promoting healthy growth and development in children.

Define important healthy eating habits from pregnancy through the first few years of life
Analyze the impact of the environment on health
Effectively support breastfeeding mothers and know when to recommend additional help
