CQIS Forum Staff Orientation, Onboarding and PD
The goal of the CQIS Forums is to provide a professional learning community focused on Continuous Quality Improvement. We will share resources, and there will be opportunities for Administrators to ask questions and network with colleagues about Continuous Quality Improvement. We will share resources, and there will be opportunities for Administrators to ask questions and network with colleagues about Continuous Quality Improvement planning and implementation unique to their setting.
Objectives (appears on the evaluation form):
Increase knowledge of CT OEC licensing regulations and compliance.
Increase knowledge of high quality ECE practices as defined by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC), or Environment Rating Scales (ERS)
Identify barriers to implementation of high quality practices in ECE settings.
Examine strategies to overcome barriers for implementing quality ECE practices.
Network with colleagues to establish a community of providers with a shared vison of continuous quality improvement.
