Enhancing Academic Success: A Workshop on Implementing Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
Join us for an insightful workshop designed to empower educators and administrators with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively implement a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) in the area of academics. This session will provide an overview of MTSS, including its foundational principles, practical strategies and techniques, and best practices for supporting all students in achieving academic success.
Goals (appears on the evaluation form):
Learner Objectives: 1. gain a comprehensive understanding of the MTSS framework and its components, including Tier 1 (Universal Supports), Tier 2 (Targeted Supports), and Tier 3 (Intensive Supports); 2. explore practical techniques for using data to identify student needs, monitor progress, and make informed decisions regarding interventions and supports;3. develop initial personalized ideas on how to implement a MTSS plan in their district, including creating a supportive infrastructure, aligning resources, and engaging educational partners;4. explore and compare various evidence-based academic interventions and how to integrate them effectively within the MTSS framework;5. investigate progress monitoring tools and systems in order to ensure interventions are effective and impacting student achievement.
