Services
EzCertification Data Exchange Service
EzCertification Data Exchange service is a complementary process of importing educator certification data into the EzTraxx system directly from the Connecticut State Board of Education’s Certification system. The population of certification data ensures accurate, up-to-date information is published to each teacher’s individual summary pages, clearly defining their requirements for certificate maintenance, and eliminating costly, manual data entry by school personnel.

This offering is available in the State of Connecticut in collaboration with the StateBoard of Education. As part of this service, the Connecticut State Bureau of Educator Standards and Certification also utilizes EzTraxx Online to perform annual CEU compliance verification audits, replacing expensive, paper-based methods.
Custom Development & System Integration
ProTraxx frequently works with clients to design and develop additional functionality, integration and web services to facilitate unique operational processes and accommodate specific client needs. We have extensive experience in initial population of historical activity and participation data which lays the foundation for successful application adoption throughout the organization.

We offer hourly rates for custom work as well as ten-hour reduced block rates. Ask a representative for more information about these services.
Implementation
ProTraxx differentiates itself as a leader in implementation services. We believe that the methods used for effective rollout of your new solution are a key factor in adoption success. Uniting the ProTraxx team with the new client team to identify timelines, clearly define roles and responsibilities, select data for import, and schedule targeted training sessions are just some of the tasks involved in the implementation process. Each client receives a complete plan, drafted from our initial implementation meeting to use as a guide and working document throughout the process.

Our standard implementation is included in the initial setup of our EzTraxx Online application and includes the following:
  • Population of school / building locations with client list
  • Setup of Standard State Departments / Topic Codes
  • Creation of Standard User Groups – Administrators, Technology, Human Resources & Professional Development Coordinators
  • Getting Started with EzTraxx Online Guidelines
  • A Training Session for Launching EzTraxx Online to Your Staff
  • Guide to Launching EzTraxx Online to Your Staff
Investing the time and effort up front dramatically simplifies the ongoing use of the application by district personnel.

Once the basic setup is complete, we include a hands-on Training Session as part of the setup which provides a complete overview of the options, best practices, and support available to our newest clients. These sessions ensure that your district is maximizing its use of ExTraxx Online and realizing a return on its investment as soon as possible.
Training
ProTraxx provides several training options to our clients including hands-on system training for administrative users at our Middletown, CT site or any client site. Targeted sessions may also be delivered via Webex at the client’s request.

The general teaching population using the MyEzTraxx site has access to robust online tutorials which includes a library of proven, targeted, task-driven instructional videos.

We divide administrative training into two tiers to address the two main types of users:
  • Tier 1(Key Central Office Staff) – Includes key contact users such as your professional development coordinator and support staff currently responsible for managing program offerings. These users will become familiar with all of the application’s features and functionality and have secure access to system records, based on their roles and responsibilities. This training will be provided in one or more three-hour sessions.
  • Tier 2 (Building Administrators) – Includes administrators, principals and technical staff as well as support staff assisting in the professional development process at the building level. These users will become familiar with limited features and functionality of the application. Secure access to system records for this group will be dictated by roles and responsibilities within each building or school. This training will be provided in one or more three-hour sessions.
To maximize the effectiveness of our session, we limit Tier 1 and Tier 2 sessions to no more than 20 participants. Customized sessions are available upon request.

Professional Development Management Consulting Services
For educational providers that need to develop a professional development program or want to reorganize or improve their existing program, ProTraxx provides consulting services to assist you in these initiatives.

Almost without exception, districts having a well-planned, published set of policies and procedures for both in-house and external staff participation in professional development experiences are realizing the greatest success with their programs. Establishing the expectations and clearly defining acceptable and preferable practices for planning and utilizing professional development resources dramatically increases its effectiveness.

ProTraxx teamed with highly respected and knowledgeable industry leaders to develop a comprehensive template-based planning tool which facilitates and jumpstarts this process. Our Professional Development Guide outlines the qualifying programs, scheduled sessions, and roles and responsibilities of each district employee in a united approach to professional learning. Working through the easy-to-use template, Professional Development administrators complete missions statements, select goals and objectives, and identify appropriate participation, follow-through and resulting awards. Incorporating use of the EzTraxx Online system throughout the guide allows users to readily perform the necessary steps to implement internal workflow processes and meet recordkeeping requirements.

While the guide is self explanatory, we offer training sessions to supply the extra guidance which may be needed to implement the document within your organization and tie it directly to the selected and intended use of EzTraxx Online application.
